OK I picked up a 55 gallon drum



I added the adjustable shelf system...



I've burned it three times the red stuff is coming off in some places but not all...

The Weber lid doesn't quite fit...



I called around a few places to see if I could get it sandblasted (the red sealer), nobody does it local. Has anyone tried aircraft coating remover?

Is there a powder coating outfit near you? Almost all do their own sand blasting as the two go hand in hand. Body shops too.

To get the lid to fit you have to rivit or weld a ring on the inside of the drum.

I added the aluminum strip Thanks ballagh:)



Made the fire basket 2nd time first one was too big for the pizza pan.



Added the required bottle opener.



I got a rack of ribs, a chicken & a Brisket I'll be smoking tomorrow.....

I added the handles,



Quick disconnect ash catcher.....



& cap keepers. I'd lose them otherwise..............
