Hey everyone,
So I'm traveling for thanksgiving and will be without my smoker. I have a salmon recipe that Has become a tradition in my family. I will have access to a gas grill. Any one know or have any tips on how to mak a smoker on a gas grill.?

Welcome to the group!  My friend has a 3 burner gas grill, and he will put the left burner as low as he can get it, and the meat on the right side as far from the burner as possible.  He puts some wood chips wrapped in foil over the burner section.  The foil has holes poked in it for airflow and smoke.  Hope this helps.

I've done the same as Mikes friend, but I just put a wood chunk right on the grate above the flame.
