Can't say that I have ever made anything over charcoal except for back in the day when used the pits in the park with a bag of Kingsford and about half a jug of lighter fluid to get it going

My first Kettle was an 18 " one touch . Way back in 1982 . I used to do all kinds of indirect cooking / smoking on that thing .
Baked cakes , breads and pies on it too .
Is that JJ an 18 or 22 ?
18" Jumbo Joe. Never tried any sweets in there.
Back in the 80's I cooked meat on a traditional Kamado.

I wish I could find the one I had . Came with my 18" one touch . That's how I ran my kettles when I first got them . Still do for the most part .
There's some good stuff in there .
