0MG..MY $50.00 gosm with pics

So I was heartbroken about missing out on my GOSM big block. If they weren't on backorder, they were just sold out period. I had resigned myself to finding something different. So today, after a day at Disneyland, we ran up to Bass Pro Shops. Lo and behold, they had a GOSM Big Block on the floor. The sales person told us they didn't think they had any in stock (I had been calling for weeks and they told me they were out and didn't ever expect them back in) and Bass won't sell floor models because they can't ensure they haven't been tampered with. Anyway, she comes back and says they found one in the warehouse and it now has my name on it. Well needless to say,I RAN to the checkout. Regularly $299, on sale for $199. I'm IN!
I checkout and imagine my surprise when it rings up for $49.00!!!!!!!!!!!
They're clearanced. So as I drive around to pickup, I imagine it's either not there, or the wrong model...who knows...but $49.00 are you kidding me???
Well I arrive at pickup, give them my call slip and the receipt, and they load my new GOSM Big Block into my car!
I'm seasoning it as we speak. Here it sits in it's place of honor next to my Silver Smoker.

So I got in touch with my girlfriend at our local food bank and they do a 4th of July event. I've voluntered myself, my smoker, and enough meat to feed 150 people for the event...am I close to redemption????

What a deal! dang, I wish I had your luck. You are gonna like that big block, I used my wide body GOSM for the first time on memorial weekend. Buckboard and western cut ribs. The gasser gave me a better smoke than my electric. try explaining to the SO why a $150 dollar unit does better than a $550 unit I'm still trying. Happy smokin Cinnamon

That is a great deal. I just bought my gosm wide body @ Wallyworld for $138. Same exact unit @ GanderMountain was $199. I thought that was great.
