I did did a quick rub of paprika, cayenne, salt, pepper, garlic powder. Smoked with applewood at 230*ish for 6 hours. Half way in I brushed some apple bbq sauce on them. They turned out just ok. I got some learning to do lol. I will definitely do the 3-2-1 method next time.
Just got a Smokin It model #1 in the mail wednesday morning. picked up a brisket, rubbed it and did my first smoke on Thursday. 225* 8 hours last 2 I wrapped it in foil cause it looked dry. the only brisket i could find had pretty much not fat on it, think im gonna do ribs next!
