Nice job, the mozz looks perfect! Thank you for posting this, I have never had any luck with anything but whole milk. Didn’t know it wasn’t available in Canada.

    Bacon slicer

Keith is right on the commercial slicers, they are a much better choice if you can find a used one, but we had a 12” slicer & it was just too heavy to move around ( for us ). So we have a Chef’s Choice 645. We bought a smooth blade & sharpening stones for it also. It works for everything we...

Finally found something that keeps my griddle clean between cooks

Looks kinda cool. I have a Camp Chef & just keep the top seasoned like cast iron. The only problem I see is if any moisture got under the silicone, the metal would rust quickly. I think I would just keep the top oiled & use the factory metal cover. That way you would get air flow, and then a...

    Medical Alert Systems ??

An Apple Watch has fall detection built in. If you fall & don’t respond to the watches warning it will dial 911, and or an emergency contact. I had to turn mine off because when working in the yard it would trigger the alarm. Al

Agree with all the others, never had a problem with LJ pellets. Tried other brands, but IMHO, LJ is the best pellet out there. Al

You should be fine. Just keep cooking it. Here is an article that explains everything. As long as it wasn’t boneless & you didn’t inject it your good to go. https://www.smokingmeatforums.com/threads/my-smoker-died-is-my-meat-safe.302466/ Al

    Frozen ribs

Your ribs look delicious 🤤! It’s great to be able to have ribs on the spur of the moment! I have done this several times since, & the only drawback I can see is you can’t do any pre-trimming. On the plus side, I think the ribs retain more moisture when cooking from frozen! Al

Costco pork bellies -- Skin On?

Here is a great video on how to skin a belly. He makes it look easy, but I have tried it & it works, much like skinning a fish. You just need a curved knife so you don’t cut the skin. Al

Round Two Heading For Tampa Area (Cat 5)

Eye went right over us, just got power & internet back. The hurricane was nothing compared to the tornado that took down our oak tree. My security cam caught the whole thing. Best part was the tree fell on my neighbor’s lawn who hates me! Karma! Al

Round Two Heading For Tampa Area (Cat 5)

We just went through a feeder ban with a tornado in it. It took down an oak tree in my backyard and we’re still 12 hours away from the storm. Al
