    Avocado is great as is coconut oil. It is not true that olive oil turns to trans fat however. It can burn and taste a bit funny at higher heat.

    agree on the olive oil, but not at all on the whole grain. Whole grain and wheat bread are really no better for you than white bread. Another great follow is Dr. Jason Fung. He is from Toronto and has a good rep. Sugar is the enemy, carbs are sugar to the body. Need to cut the carbs.

    As a Canadian I take offense to the term Canadian Bacon!! It is called Peameal Bacon in Canada! Not really offended, but we do call it Peameal in Canada.
