    Smoking at 225 compared to 180 or lower on pellet smokers

    All I know is 180 seems to be the perfect temp for me when it comes to smoke flavor on anything. I’ve done some ridiculously incredible jerky on my GMG at that temp.

    Dick's Sporting Goods is closed but is doing curbside pickup if you order online, I did it today and picked up some Lumberjack Pellets. I live in southern PA and from what I could tell most stores still have pellets in stock.

    So far I've used two brands of pellets and it seems as though my opinion is in line with what's being said here. I started with BBQrs Delight pellets and when I ran out I went with the cheaper Pit Boss pellets. Am disappointed in Pit Boss and probably won't buy them again.
