    Cheesesteak Hot Pockets #2

Those look really good. I've done something similar using premade pie dough. Using a half circle for each, then folding over and sealing the edges with a fork

    Extra thick baby backs

Been seeing those at Giant under the Hatfield brand in cryopack. Really like them quite a bit. $4 something a pound. I just do 2-3 hours indirect on my grill, basting the last 90 minutes or so with the sauce of the day.

    Smokn-it 3 Racks

I have the Smokin-It 2D and I really wish I'd bought the 3D. It's a really nice smoker but doesn't hold very much.

    Smoking with Rosemary

I have two fairly large rosemary bushes. Anyone ever throw any in the smoker instead of a seasoning?

    Harbor Freight class action settlement

Great for the one-off things I might need occasionally.  The furniture blankets are an especially great deal.  You can buy new, clean blankets for what it costs to rent the filthy ones from UHaul. Have a contractor friend that buys HF tools for his crew.  His point is "nobody steals HF", and...

Size of breast by size of the whole turkey?

Is there a guideline for the size if s turkey breast given the size of the whole bird? I have a smaller smoker (SmokinIt 2D) and I'm considering buying a big turkey then removing the breast meat and smoking it boneless - I can't really fit a big turkey carcass in there. Is this a good idea?

How to Charge for whole smoked turkey?

Depends on where you live, I guess. How much labor time are you figuring? Can you buy direct from the farm, otherwise you are paying retail for the birds...

Holy cow TV technology has become amazing!!

I have an old Samsung 720p set that I spent probably $3500 on back in the day.  I keep waiting for that sucker to die so I can get a new set, but it keeps chugging on...

You know the red ones are best

I bought a Thermopen in pink for my 87 year old mom, who loves the ease of use and the size of the display. She would kill me if she knew what it cost!  I got it through one of their open box sales, but still... I have one in blue and I love it.

BDSkelly ~ The Lodge Cast Iron Sportsmans Grill The Sumo of Hibachi!

I had one of those for years!  When I had an apartment it was just perfect for sitting off the porch and grilling up a few burgers or steaks.  I left that poor thing out in the rain, snow, you name it until it finally just rusted away. We found the matching top fry pan in my parents basement...

    Turkey Thighs

Been doing some turkey thighs in my SmokinIt 2D but last night something great happened. 225F for about 3 hours, then decided to finish in the oven at 300F in a covered pan for about an hour. A friend came over just as the hour was up so I just shut off the oven and let things sit. After...

Petite pork shoulder - where did I go wrong?

Interesting - my SmokinIt has a probe that can be used to track meat temperature to control the smoker, I have seen this and will have to ask the team there about it. Thanks!

    Poll: Propane source

I usually take my empties to the local feed/farm/garden store.  They're not the cheapest place but they are the nicest to deal with.
