Those look really good. I've done something similar using premade pie dough. Using a half circle for each, then folding over and sealing the edges with a fork
Been seeing those at Giant under the Hatfield brand in cryopack. Really like them quite a bit. $4 something a pound. I just do 2-3 hours indirect on my grill, basting the last 90 minutes or so with the sauce of the day.
Great for the one-off things I might need occasionally. The furniture blankets are an especially great deal. You can buy new, clean blankets for what it costs to rent the filthy ones from UHaul.
Have a contractor friend that buys HF tools for his crew. His point is "nobody steals HF", and...
Is there a guideline for the size if s turkey breast given the size of the whole bird? I have a smaller smoker (SmokinIt 2D) and I'm considering buying a big turkey then removing the breast meat and smoking it boneless - I can't really fit a big turkey carcass in there.

I have an old Samsung 720p set that I spent probably $3500 on back in the day. I keep waiting for that sucker to die so I can get a new set, but it keeps chugging on...
I bought a Thermopen in pink for my 87 year old mom, who loves the ease of use and the size of the display.
She would kill me if she knew what it cost! I got it through one of their open box sales, but still...
I have one in blue and I love it.

We found the matching top fry pan in my parents basement...
Been doing some turkey thighs in my SmokinIt 2D but last night something great happened. 225F for about 3 hours, then decided to finish in the oven at 300F in a covered pan for about an hour. A friend came over just as the hour was up so I just shut off the oven and let things sit. After...
Interesting - my SmokinIt has a probe that can be used to track meat temperature to control the smoker, I have seen this and will have to ask the team there about it.
Thanks!
