Sadly Stick Burner has to go

Well it is finally here, my COPD has gotten to the point that I need to be on O2 pretty much all the time. I usually only needed O2 for exertion and Exercise. When I smoked I did every thing off O2, but this last time I got really bad out of breath, checked my O2 levels with a pulse ox when I...

    Maverick knockoff Ivation

Was looking around Amazon for a replacement probe for my Maverick 733 and came across the Ivation at about 20 bucks cheaper and seems to have a slightly better range and an extra probe.  Seems to be a rebrand of the Mav 733.  Hard to believe another company made these, I bet they both come off...

    Vacuum Sealing

Just curious if anyone has made extra smoke foods and vacuum sealed them for later where they could be heated up by boiling in the bag.  Did you do the whole rack, or made into individual meals...Seems like a good idea, just wondering if anyone has done this,  how did you go about it.  Thinking...

    Hothands

Any body tried these Hothands  they keep advertising on TV.  I use the big oven mitts now that go clear up to almost my elbow, they work ok but they're big and bulky, not to mention they get really dirty, hard to clean, so I am looking for something better, that I can grab stuff with and brush...

    Adding URL links

How are people adding URL links to their thread where the http:URL is hidden behind a word that is hyper linked.  I can't seem to figure out how to do it on this site.  No matter what I do, I keep getting the entire  character string displayed instead of just a highlighted word with all that...

    Fattie question

For folks that have done a bacon weave fattie using hamburger, do they stay together after cooking well enough to slice thin (maybe inch to inch and half thick) to place on a burger bun, just curious.  Seems like they would fall apart, so I don't know because I have never made or eaten a fattie...

    Wow IPV6 works

Playing around with my modem today (Centurylink pk5001z) because it has been slowing down some lately, and noticed IPV6 was off.  Man this went into effect back in 2012, thought it was already running.  Win8.1 is on by default, centurylink is supporting it, but evidently never turns it on....so...
