    Thanks Squirrel, Yes I have been canning every thing this year, Rotel,Juice,Pepper Relish,Raw Tomatoes,Salsa,Sauce and Stewed Tomatoes. Also have canned Green Beans,Carrots,Corn,Potato's,and a variety of Pickles this summer.

    The pickle crisp is the trick they come out nice and crisp every time.Make sure not to use to much of the PC I did by mistake last year and ruined all my pickles.Ball Suggest 1/8 tsp per pint and 1/4 tsp per Quart.

    Thanks Placebo,  My green beans this year was early contender bush beans and a Itailian beans the name excapes me on those.The Itailan beans out produced the bush beans 2 to 1and are just as flavorable.  Sounds like you have a great garden as well,love the fresh veggies.

    Start them over the hot coals turning often untill the bacon starts to crisp and the set off of the hot side of the grill until every thing is done.I also hit them with some of my bbq sauce while chilling on the cool side.They were delicious.

    I planted them on April 1st so 93 days I think,I just dug furrows and planted them about 18 inches apart and just kept dirt pulled up to the plants . Yea Mballi will be using all kinds of ways.Will be making some smoked fry's tomorrow to go with dogs and burgers.

    Thanks we had a cellar when I was growing up in Michigan and we kept our taters in there,but I now live in Tulsa Oklahoma an basements and cellar's are none existent,Think I am going to try and can some of them and see how they turn out.
