Been awhile since butts have been below a dollar a pound....Schnuck put them down to two per visit... I drive by all four Schnuck in our town when I'm working.... End up with 7 so far...
Wife wanted to do a party at the park for our Anniversary. We took a lot of pictures before everyone started showing up but got so busy we forgot to take pictures during the party.
My Daughter lives in Seward Alaska. Our kids surprise us with Airline tickets to Alaska. Can't wait to go. Well...
Its our 30th anniversary coming up June 1 so we are throwing a BBQ at the park on Sunday May 31.
We will be smoking butts for pulled pork, smoke chicken, hamburger and hot dogs.
Now for the appetizers I'm making ABT , moinks , pork shots, (mushroom with moinks wrap in bacon).

Smoked some Summer Sausage, Snack Sticks, Cheese to give away for Christmas. Would like to send some to my Daughter that lives in Alaska. Will be using 3 day priority mail .
Will put it in a cooler bag. I do have ice packs that I can use. or was thinking Dry Ice. not sure where to get...

Took these butts out of the freezer last Monday to thaw out. last night (Friday) got them
in the UDS at 11PM.
Always stock up butts when they put them on sale for $0.99/lb

Got a 7lbs pork loin that was on sale.
Trim off some of the fat.
Cut a piece off the end of it . This one is going on as is.

wonder how many I should get? I took 3 out of the freezer last Sunday to smoke this Friday. might as well get a few more to smoke on Friday. last time they had this sell I got 12 of them .
Here it is August 17th temp is right at 60 at 6:30AM. Sounds like a perfect time to
smoke some cheese and butter. Put some apple pellets in the AMNPS. Smoking
it in my UDS. After the butter is done going to mix some garlic into it,

Got two corn beef making into Pastrami. Small ones. Only little over two pounds each
First time making some. Not sure why "corn beef" will be Pastrami after smoke.

Went to sam's and got the new Smoke Hollow 44" smoker . Put it together yesterday.
Season it this morning and now 4 whole chickens on one shelf and pan under them

Used Hi Country Kielbasa mix
Added hamburger to the Kielbasa
