It's been a while since did any BCC so I thought I go for a triple today. Just waiting for the "Boss" to level out. 2 of the birds are destined for the freezer.
And won't ya know it, one of them is drunk already. Only 2&1/2 hrs at 325*, IT 170*, Boss 820D w/a Grilla Alpha Dual Smoke controller...
Seems like it's been forever but had to eat almost all of the leftovers in the freezer. Being empty-nester, big cooks last a long time. Found a nice little 4# chuck and decided why not. Only problem I fell back to sleep in my Lazy Boy this AM and got a late start, like 1100hrs start time. Guess...
Got tired of my wife using my 10" on a dang plastic board, bought her own 8" chefs knife, I hated it.
Kind of partial to my 6" and 10". The steel and both Old Hickory's were issued to me in Feb. '67, survived a lot of moves. Made the maple board about 20yrs ago and bought the 12" Viktor for...

Martin Moore Well I pulled them off after two hours, nice color and the aroma has filled the whole house. Probably should have pulled the rain cap for freer flow of the smoke. I'll let'm set for a while before I seal-n-freeze. Month from now I'll know.

How many time have ya heard that? Seems to be one of my wife's favorite sayings. For about 15 years I've ben doing my cheeses in my CharGriller COS. Thought I'd try it in my PB820D. Took several minutes to work it out, but I think I'm on the right track. It will be a month or so before I know if...
Had a minor SNAFU. After 6-1/2hrs my #3 son called w/ a brake problem. Dear ole dad to the rescue. Turned off the PB and covered the pot cause who knows when I'd get back. Well 3 hrs later I removed the still warm pot a divvied up the chili into 1lb. sour cream tubs (8@) and let it cool in the...
