    Something to understand in my opinion about commercial sausage seasonings , is that they are formulated for a specific weight . Usually 25 pounds . So cutting down batches will leave room for error and adjustments on the user end . So , I always make sure I mix the dry seasoning in the bag...

    Had a stump from a tree we cut down at deer camp . Rotted out in the middle . Good size , so I took it and started a fire in the middle . It had a knot hole in the side , that acted like an air intake . That thing was like a oxy / acetylene torch . No air draw from the bottom , just that side...

    It's Nuovva brand . It's 16 X 5 1/2 inside . Straight sides . I wanted a longer not as wide loaf . I've been half batching my normal mix . 500 grams flour , 350 grams water . So these are " eyeballed halves . The one on the right is the new pan . Did a good job . Lid fits tight .

    You never know . Is it a pump ? It depends on who made it , and what grade it is . I would bet you're not going to get rid of it , but it's nice to know what you have .

    Smoke smells better when it's cold out . We got " Thunder snow " on Sunday . This was in about 30 minutes . Got it all shoveled and cleaned up / melted , and got it again Monday Morning ! 25 degrees out , sheet of ice under the snow . Good news was my new bread oven still showed up ...

    I would remove the access panel on the back and check the wires going to the element . UNPLUG it first , before removing the access . They may look good , but you'll need to unplug them from the terminals and make sure the wires are good . Not brittle or burnt .

    Really nice . Nice color on that . Great advantage to breaking down a butt . I made sausage last week , and culled out about a pound of the " bacon " . In a bag with Tender quick right now . Gonna go 10 days . Great for slicing or seasoning up a pot of beans . I agree , it frys up nice .

    A5 Browning ,, awesome shotgun . A feature I love on those is the chamber lock out . Blocks the feed , and you unchamber the shell . Leaves the chamber empty for moving around . Always wanted one .

    My buddie had one . Drive 8 hours to Iowa to pheasant hunt . Bang , jamb ,, cuss , cuss , bang , jamb , repeat . I heard that about the Winchester . I was looking at a Benelli years ago . They had a video of it shooting five shells before the first casing hit the ground .
