My First attempt
Thanks for the kind comments. We just ate super and I can definately agree that it gains even more flavour as it sits in the fridge. The fish in the last picture is a Northern Pike. It weighed in at about 12 1/2 pounds and measured at 92 cm or better yet 36 inches. We commonly call this fish...- peter

My First attempt
My first smokin experience was a success. I did a beef cross rib roast and a medidium size chicken. I put together a powerpoint show and posted it to my webserver. Feel free to check it out. It is about 1 meg in size so it takes a few minuites on dial-up, but should be fast on high speed...- peter

Could wood chunks dried for 1 week be ok to smoke with???
Also, Seven cords of wood? That sounds like enough to heat my house for half the winter. Are you talking full cords (4'x4'x8') or pickup box cords? I will look into the GOSM in the next week or so, thanks for the advice about catalog ordering it... TTYL- peter

Thanks for the quick reply. I live out of town and was thinking of picking up a couple of boards today. Now, With the thoughful answer you gave me has not only saved me the trip to the HD, but possibably saved me a trip to the hosipital as well.
