    I never move my lower dampers. They were wide open the first time I ever used the GOSM and have remained open all these years. Temperature is regulated by a needle valve as I stated before. Lamar

    that looks good CBD. Controlling the temps in warmer weather is as simple as adding a needle valve in the supply line. I turn the gas on with the smoker knob set on high, set the flame with the needle valve and it stays amazingly stable once up to temp. Very seldom have to change the needle...

    Hey bear..........here is how I solved the tight turning problem in the air fryer. Started with a simple rack. A little bit of cutting and brazing topped off with high temperature paint and wala....a shelf! No need to turn now.

    Best way to restore a weber kettle?

    For a scraper, I use a 1 1/4" metal putty knife that I have rounded off the corners. That gives more power and won't scrape the finish. Works very well.

    Glad you like the mod Richie, Mine works well. Never have to open the lid to check IT. I did mess up one probe by not securing the excess wire on , but that was operator error. Lamar

    My TP 08 failed about two hours into a butt smoke this morning. The transmitter was flashing all 888's. I called customer service and told them what was going on. He replied the transmitter was bad and would send a new one. After he checked stock, he advised they did not have one in stock...
