  • I have electric smoker MB20070421, mainly using it to smoking pork. Although overall results are not bad I have frequently problem keeping smoke at set temperature. Setting it up to maximum (275) helps to start smoking , but when its lowered smoke disappears. Can you give me any advice or suggestions?

Try using a pellet tube or maze. This separates the smoke generation from the electric heat setting. I use an MB40 with a mailbox mod which also removes my pellet tube or maze from the smoker box entirely. The improvement in smoke quality is amazing this way. It also allows for cold smoking.

Hello! I'm new to this forum, but not to smoking meats. I started grilling & smoking in the 1970's with an original Portable Kitchens cast aluminum grill (that I still use) and a Cook'n Cajun smoker, similar to the Brinkmann Gourmet. For patio smokers I have two bullet style and one horizontal offset. For bigger cook sessions I have a trailer mounted Oklahoma Joe's Chuckwagon.

hi c farmer /Smoking Guru. I'd like to post a question on the forum for my first time, but cant see how to?
looking for some advice on buying a Treager pellet smoker for smoking briskets?
Thank You c farmer for the greeting, I'm really glad the I stumbled onto this web-site. I have a Lang 48 inch Smoker/Cooker that I enjoy cooking on as often as I can! It does a really nice job & is so easy to operate, I recommend it to anyone interested in outdoor cooking! I'm sure there are other Cooker/Smokers out there but, I'm just not familiar with them. Like my name suggests, I'm a Smoking/Cooking Fool, I love to cook outside as often as I can! Again, thank you for the greeting & welcome to Smoking Meat Forums.com!
Hi c farmer, did you receive my "test" email? I'm having startup problems,
