    Update, day 76 and no smoker. I keep contacting them, they said UPS lost it, you will get one within 30 days. That passed, you will get one in 20 days, that passed, you will get one by the weekend, that passed. Finally talked to someone and they keep saying by the next weekend and still nothing...

    MES 30 DIGITAL TEMP

    Haven't used smoker in a while. Set it at 225 for 1/2 hr, put ribs in, after another 1/2 hr, digital display said 215, put 2 probes in, they both were 315. Set digital to 175, now keeping internal temp at 225. Is digital unit bad or is it the temp sensor. Masterbuilt says 24hrs before some one...

    Got soon deer bologna made at a local meat market. Good taste, but no smoke flavor. Can it be smoked, and if so, cold or warm smoke and what temp.

    Did'nt know it was cold blooded. Got the cold smoker kit running with it for alittle extra heat. So far so good. Thanks

    Got it working. Its 30 degrees here, brought controller in to house to warm up, then it worked

    Got a MES 30, used once, got ribs ready and now no power. Theres power to where the cord comes in. Took control box apart, everythind looks good. Any thoughts?

    Temps off 40 degrees

    Wife did a boil test, her meat probe was 212, the ivation was 218. Did a cold test, they are still 6 degrees off. Also ran smoker this morning, set it at 200, the ivation was at 225. Now that I know the diffences, I can get back to smoking. Thanks

    So what I am getting from these responses is to adjust the temp lower on the smoker and believe the wireless thermometer. Will try this tomorrow on some ribs.

    First smoke with the MES 30, using the Ivation dual probes, temp difference is a consistant 40 degrees. Any thoughts??
