If the temp keeps rising no matter what you set it at, it could be either the weather or an issue with the smoker. Replacing propane line
Does anyone have any links to any needle valves, or recommendations for a brand to use? also, are their any needle valves that attach right to the propane tank itself?- Henry P.

Here is the connection. If I can't change it, then it is what it is. I was just looking for another way to control the temperature. Sometimes i have trouble getting it to stay below 250 degrees. Is it possible to only open the valve on the propane tank itself only halfway or even a quarter...- Henry P.

Replacing propane line
I have a DynaGlo vertical propane smoker. I want to replace the propane line it came with with one that has a regulator on it, but the one end seems crimped to the control unit of the smoker. Is there a way to somehow remove that line? I obviously dont want to damage the smoker where i cant...- Henry P.

Wont drop below 250 and tons of smoke
I seem to have a similar issue. I use a Dyna-Glow vertical propane smoker and it seems the lowest i can get it is about 248. I use wood chunks and some wood chips to fill in. I also use a separate thermometer to test the interior temp. Weird thing is, the thermometer on the smoker shows it... -

Cover for wood chips
Hey All, After a long time of having it, I'm finally using my smoker. Its a BBQ-Pro Vertical Propane smoker. I see a lot of smokers have a cover for the dish that holds the wood chips, but this one doesn't. Is that normal and should I use something as a cover for the wood chips?- Henry P.
