Horseradish Macaroni Salad

Horseradish Macaroni Salad
4 C elbow macaroni,cooked
6 hard boiled eggs
4 Oz cheddar cheese
1 can young peas,drained
1 medium onion
3/4 C mayonnaise
12-16 Oz horseradish sauce
Run eggs through egg slicer both ways
Cube cheddar to 1/4"
Dice onion to 1/4"
Mix mayonnaise and 12 Oz horseradish together
Add all other ingredients and mix,being careful to not smash peas
Taste for potency and consistency,add mayo or horseradish sauce accordingly

Make a day in advance to let flavors meld

Looks like a fine salad except for the peas. But I can find a substitute for those. Fresh peas maybe. Can't do the canned. Yuck!

We always had canned veggies when I was a kid. When frozen stuff became popular my mom bought the frozen almost exclusively..... thank goodness for frozen :D

I might give this a wirl, though not with that horseradish. I know I'd be promptly killed if I used that much by people around me.

I might add some chopped up deli ham to this too :)
