Good evening all. I decided to grill up some CSR today. I tried indaswamp indaswamp vidalia onions as well. Thanks for the recipe. Mine didn’t look as good as yours did. I did some potato’s in foil on the grill as well. My favorite was the frito/corn dip casserole that my wife made. Happy 4th of July everyone.

Awesome! Glad you gave them a go. How long and at what temp. did you cook them? If they were still a little firm, them let them cook a little longer. Should have no resistance at all when you squeeze one in the foil as a tester....That's when the magic happens and the onions begin to carmelize.

I did them for an hour at 350. They were not firm at all. I probably should have left them on a little longer to let them caramelize. Thank you for the advice I appreciate it.
