Crock pot barbacoa

Started with two roasts: rump and shoulder.

Added onion, chipotle in adobo, cumin, clove , cinnamon, bay, liquid smoke, salt, pepper and broth.

Went on for about 6 hours in high.
Then I had in the oven (in the crock pot insert) at 250 until the liquid was reduced. Overnight in the cold room so the remaining liquid turns into jelo for easier freezer baging.

Very nice flavours from all the spices

I've thought of doing something in the Crock Pot , but Ribs and Brisket ain't any of them... I'd be dissatisfied with the whole business of texture and taste and dump it out when done.:police2:
