Cooking up some baby backs tomorrow and I have them spending the night in an apple cider soak/marinade. My question is related to draining the marinade prior to applying the rub. I'm concerned there will be onions and thyme sticking to the ribs once I drain off the liquid. Should I lightly rinse off the marinade before applying the rub?

A little veg won't hurt anything. You can add some rub and it will probably just fall off anyway...JJ
