Your favorite Nascar driver.

After reading a thread about March Madness it gave me the idea for this thread. I love to smoke food and set back and watch a good race. I just wanted to know who every one's favorite driver was. mine is Jeff Burton.

There are many drivers I respect and root for. Mark Martin, Dale Jr., Tony Stewart.
I enjoy Edwards, Newman, Burton and a few others.

Back in the day it was Bill Elliott... Like Vlap I like several but if I had to pick a single driver it would Dale Jr...

LC -- Mark Martin here. Become a causal NASCAR fan when living in VA where it dominates the sports page as you know. Now my boys are all into it everytime I turn on a race. (after watching the movie Cars of course)

Went to a few races in Richmond and Charlotte. Being there live is great.

Here is one you dont see often...Jeremy Mayfield...I can also root for Ryan Newman since he is from my home town,this usually happens after Jeremy Mayfield crashes, blows a tire,or gets lapped.

Jeff Gordon here, with Jimmy Johnson a close second. I also like Jr. he has matured alot since his early days of driving.

Guys I can't stand: Cry baby Tony the hypocrit,Kurt Bush, and Robby Gordon.

It is a great sport, still the fastest growing sport in the U.S.

Favorites of the past Wild Bill from dawsonville, Bobby Allison, Davey Allison, Alan Kulwiki, and Richard petty!

That pretty much hits the nail right on the head for me also. Gotta like the 24 being so close to dupont. Everyone I used to like was dying year after year when I first started enjoying racing and he just started into NASCAR from Busch. I honestly thought with my like he would be gone by now. Maybe that means my luck changed a little!!!!!!!!!!

I liked fireball and as a kid got to ride with him around Daytona during a test session.
Then it was Richard Petty.
Then DW
Then Mark Martin (still my all time favorite)
Now I am watching Edwards in Ford - Bush in Toyota - Burton and Harvick in Chevy.
No winny cry babies like Gordon for me.
