I think it BS about the insurance, I would have a lawyer read the policy and contact them about it. bet they change there tune.

Stupid insurance companies always find a loop hole. Maybe the termites will find their way to policy makers homes and see how they like it.

All i know is these things are nasty, never seen a home this torn up, trusses are ready to colapse, i told all my men DO NOT WALK ON THE ROOF or it will collapse, we have to remove all roof tiles and trusses down to tie beams and replace. this colony i have a picture of is over one year old of trying to fumigate, inject poison in the soil in the ground and they just keep coming back. worst part is if you fumigate em and get em out of your house all that means is they will go to the neighbors house. they live in nests underground so no way to reach the colony and kill it!!!!

Google "Termidor". Quite expensive but it works for years, and can take out the colony outside as well. Also one of the few things that works on Carpenter ants.
