*****Sold*****Yoder YS1500 Wood Pellet Smoker for sale. I purchased this unit new in Oct 2014 and it is in very good condition, everything works and only a couple of spots of light surface rust on the body (cooking grates are rust free). If you are not familiar with these smokers, they are made in the USA in Yoder, Kansas and are truly built like no other smoker, easily lasting for decades. The smoker is made from 3/16” steel and weighs 667 pounds. It has 1,500 square inches of cooking surface on two levels of grates. This unit is on their competition cart (silver color) and has flat free tires (solid rubber). It also includes the accessory form fitted cover.
Please note that this unit was made prior to the introduction of their Wi-Fi controlled system. However, you can easily convert this with an upgrade kit they sell so it will operate just like a brand new model. When they first released the Wi-Fi kit several years ago, I considered adding this feature but given the smoker’s mass of steel, it holds a temperature very well so I felt that I didn’t need the ability to control the unit remotely. At this point, I’ll leave the potential Wi-Fi update to the new owner in order to keep the sell price as low as possible.
I am asking $2,750 for the smoker which I think is very fair given that a new unit with the accessory cover would be over $6,000. Please see the below link for more information about this smoker.
