Yellow leaves

yellow leaves can be several things.  First thought is either too much, or too little water (I know, it sounds contradictory).  Since it is just one variety that is doing this I doubt it's fungal, virus or insect related.  Other possibility is magnesium deficiency?  Different varieties could have different needs.
