That is so true too! I’ve always said everything I wrap is an original. Lots of tape and taffy looking twisted ends at times lol. My bacon weaves are immaculate haha

Ha . I use the taffy method . If the corner rips thru , I just tape a patch over it .

gmc2003 that made me laugh . I dropped off a package at the post office couple weeks ago . Guy next to me put a box on the counter that was all taped up with duct tape .
The gal workin pushed it back to him , and said " No duct tape . Next " LOL .

Not every year but some years my parents did the same. The funny pages were used for the kids, and the print section was for the parents. Also school book covers were made from brown paper bags. I also remember my grandmother collecting all the bows and ribbons from the gifts to reuse them the following year. Waste not want not.
