I've had plenty of chuck roasts but never a chuck eye steak. Is it one of the muscle sections of a standard chuck roast? If so, can you cut up a regular chuck roast to get the steak and then use the rest of the roast for something else? Just wondering.
Yes! I am not a meat cutting expert but they are cut right off one end of a whole beef chuck. They are small and some surrounding meat it removed, but they are good! No doubt YouTube has a video explaining it better than I can.
