It's a Late 30's General Electric. The design worked great for fitting the fire box in the lower compartment.

Sorry for the delay in responding, I'm not constantly connected to the innerweb. Hope this will help.
I kept design simple with 5/16" thick steel for upper fire box for strength and longevity.
I used the plug from the 3" hole saw for a damper. when closed it sits 1/8" above the hole with 1/8" gap. Works awesome for low temp smoking.
This lower damper I'm not super impressed with, but it works. A standard manual damper will suffice.
4" x 4" heavy wall for lower chimney houses the 3" damper
I added extendable arms for easy removal of firebox.
3" hole leading to cook chamber, I have a section of 8" x 2" heavy steel "U" channel heat shield that covers it to deflect direct heat.

This framework is for support of the cook chamber.

3" solid copper Chimney has a 3" manually adjusted damper as well. I found this under an old house while remodeling, leftover from old heating system, hence the dents. But it gives it character.
I added a Solid copper drip cup and brass drip fitting to capture the condensed steam.
