Wow, you struck a gold mine there! Congratulations on the win and welcome to the forum, we're glad to have ya. If it were me, I would have to burn some wood in it just to see how it worked. Then maybe a couple of racks of ribs and a pork butt. If not successful at first don't give up. We are here to help.
Again, congrats and welcome.

That is Awesome! I would give it a try and if you don't like it, sell it. Lang's hold their value, but I doubt you will end up selling it!

Congratulations on winning the Lang 48, I was following Lang’s instagram posts about the contest, looked like a good time. I finally pulled the trigger on my Lang last spring and love it. Fire it up and give it a try, if it’s not for you, you’ll have no problem selling it.

If you are able and willing to share some pics of your new rig, I know I would like to see real pics of it vs web shots!
The first pic is the one we got. The truck flatbed pic was 16 of the Langs used in the BBQ showdown; loaded by forklift for its trip back to GA.

Here is a good place to start. Maybe a member here would be interested if they are somewhat close to you. Or are willing to drive for a good deal.

Thanks! That is a very nice smoker and that semi full is an awesome sight.

This is your food for thought. The big wheels are perfect to roll it around the yard. It’s about the same size internally as my pellet (Rectec 1250) smoker I use 2-3 times a week….

However, there is a classified's section of the forum you can list it. Just use this to get into smoking/grilling. Ie the funds from a sale could get you a new pellet smoker (very easy to use) and a new gas grill and have some funds for some meat.

A life time supply ??
Think about the cost of meat. Lets say you ordered a whole smoked brisket from a restaurant to be shipped to you in a vacuum sealed package, in some sort of cooler. How many of those before you hit $4750? I am estimating about ten 12lber's.

But it really was an attempt at humor. Unless... LOL
