Yeah, had a beef killed and butchered. Got boneless rib eyes, NY strips, filet, chucks, brisket, and a ton of ground beef. Ground beef is in the big freezer, all I keep in this one is roasts, steaks, and sausage I make ...... the ice maker isn't hooked up so it's stuffed full of vac sealed bacon.

Nice pile.
Got a similar side by side down south. You can remove the ice maker bin for more room.
I'm going freezer shopping when we go south

Thought about completely removing the ice maker and rigging up a shelf in its place but been just opening the door and shoving it full of smaller vac sealed things like bacon and sausages.

Kill fee + processing fee on this one was, I think $186 and change for my half. Last one was bigger and was around $130.

Processing fees were up quite a bit from last year, but still cheaper and better than store bought.

My butcher last year was .55 cents a lb for beef. Vac sealed and frozen. A whole pig was about 130 bucks cut and sausage ground. I do the hams and bacons and vac pack my pork.

The receipt is in my truck somewhere so I'll try to give a price per pound if I can find it lol.
