Winn Dixie BOGOed me.....

Went to town to get a few things..dont normally go on Sat as the tourists are on the road to the beach thru Defuniak Springs...

Hard to believe that I have only been outa the Atlanta Speedway for 2 years... hahahahaha..

Winn Dixie had Sanderson 100% natural no additive thighs bogo and Smithfield 100% natural no additive butts at 1.29.

Got a bunch of other stuff bogo too.

$130 bill was reduced with 5 off coupon and the bogo to 73 bucks!!!!

Got 4 butts prolly gonna go in the wsm tonite for an all nite.

Thighs and wings into the Marivac for dinner!!!!

What???  You don't miss the daily race around Atlanta?  They will still run you over if you are doing 75mph as you are the slowest thing moving (except during the rush hour jam).  Those 55mph signs are not even a suggestion anymore.

Some days I wonder just where all those people are headed.   I can remember when it was the 3 county metro area, then the 5 county, and now I think it's the 17 county metro area (more like 1/3 of the state).

I worked at Clayton county harley davidson...2 and a half years ago I was about killed by a hit and run driver while test riding a fat boy..

Lived in Atlanta since 73..I am very happy to live in a small town..Pop 500..no fast food or traffic lights...or sirens..

Ahhh.... that wonderful Dekalb Farmer's Market on Ponce.  Even my kids love to go there with us.  For those of you who might be close to Atlanta, if you have not been there, you have to go at least once.

Oh wow. Another example of a small world.  Chuck is a good friend of mine and I work for the Sheriff's Office in Clayton Co (sort of, retired after 33 years and work part time now. A retired on Friday and came back on Monday sort of thing but get two checks.  And they call 38 hours a week part time).  On a side note if you have not heard, Victor Hill is up for re-election on Tuesday.  Yep, the insanity is back.  I was also one of the original "27" on January 3, 2005 (and I'm sure everybody else is scratching their heads wondering what we are talking about now).

Been here since '61. As soon as I get my last daughter out of college we plan on jumping ship for the simple life also.  As a friend of mine often says 150 miles.  Or anywhere at least 150 miles away from Atlanta.
