Wind shield for WSM

Just ordered the Smokey Mountain and I want to get a wind shield so I can use it in the cold. Can anyone suggest an inexpensive way of doing this? I thought about getting a metal garbage can to place over the top. Thought about a plastic one, but I am not sure how much heat it can take. Thanks.

A piece of plywood cut in half with hinges connecting the two pieces. Just put the wood around the smoker on which ever side the wind is coming from.
