Will an AMPNS work in my smoker?

I am looking at purchasing an AMPNS for some over night smoking, but i wanted to turn to this forum to see if it would work prior to purchasing. I have a Masterbuilt Vertical Propane smoker. Similar to the pic below. Thoughts? Is there any MODS that i need to make prior to using the AMPNS smoker?

The AMNPS has not shown very good results in propane smokers due to the lack of O2 without the use of an external fire box BUT the AMNTS (the Tube) has been showing very good results in propane!

Where do you set the tube at? Above the water pan on the bottom rack, or below the water pan.
