OK folks. I work in a office at a computer 5-6 days a week. Have a very limited view of the outside world. Any of y'all have any webcam suggestions (work friendly please)? Something that streams live or updates pretty regularly? Looking for like landscapes or maybe wildlife?

Thanks,
Jim

Not sure of any wildlife ones Jim, but I'm guessing you could Google some. Actually now that I think of it, might be wrong time of year but in Eastern Iowa, think maybe by Dubuque there is a web cam of a bald eagle's nest.

Zoo's and Conservation department should have some . St. Louis zoo streams live 9 to 5 , then plays recorded video the rest of the time . Different animals .

I have found a few that I'm watching now. Fellow in PA has a cam set up and has feeder in a cleared area. Been watching deer, turkeys, squirrels and birds during the day. Its nice to be able to take a mental break from work and just watch some nature.

Hi Jim , I was trying to find the Lobster cam from Halifax harbour for you . It must be off line right now. It was a cam set up in a lobster trap in the harbour with a reaturant sighn behind it . It is cool and funny to watch. I think they have it set so the lobster can get out and not trapped.

But I did have a link of our Bluenose 11, at her berth in Lunenburg Harbour . If the link works there is a green button/light you can drag back and see her tied up than leaving early in the morning

There are other cams from around the province also.

Here is a link to the lobster cam, like I mentioned . I think off line right now

EDIT: adding one more called Halls Harbour
Named after an American privateer, who set up shop and raided villages in the valley area. Good story behind it . Not as famous as Oak Island
