The other day my wife wanted to fry some bacon for a recipe, and I didn't have any of my own handy, so I gave her an Oscar Meyer package from the freezer. When she opened it, she was a bit upset with me. You know that little window in the package that lets you see the fat/lean ratio? The bottom slice had been folded over in half, so that it looked like it was lean on both ends. You couldn't tell until the package was opened.
And that's why we don't buy store bacon.
