I got it from a C-rat. Occasionally there would be a pack of them in the case.

I am old enough to had mostly C-rats and very few MRE's in my military diet. I completely understand their unprintable name and used it frequently. The last troops to pick out of the C-Rat box got the worst! :)

The spaghetti with the "meat" ran a close second. Until you removed the "meat" and added the rest of it to ramen noodles with hot sauce.

I got a 38 on my dog tags where ever they are, never got a bigger 1, wanted 1 but you had to be quick
