which burners

Hey guys I have everything ready for my build except my burners regulators and lines. I'm using a 275 gal oil drum. If you can help me out toward a direction I would greatly appreciate it. I've been racking my brain over it for weeks.

Yeah I called to buy one they were very high. How would you do the part for the venturi or the air mixture. I'll check the link once I get on my laptop at the shop this evening.

If you have any fabricating skills, I have seen the Venturi made out of a bell reducer. Someone could weld a piece of flat bar across the larger side, then drill and tap the hole for the Orifice. Adding the length of schedule 40 or schedule 80 pipe as long as it is needed to be, drilling holes ever inch or so to create the burner and add a cap to the end. Just a thought ……ShoneyBoy

I wont go into the full build but for complete instructions on this build visit Boykjo's post at Weld Talk Forum the only thing I did differently was to start my first slot at 10" and used 5/16" air holes instead of 1/4".

This build took about 45 minutes.

Looks awesome. I believe I'm gonna go for around a 55" to pretty much run the length of my smoker. Only problen I'm having now is finding a steel 2" into 1" steel bell reducer. Thanks guys for all the help. I truely appreciate it.

Hi, I hope no one minds me jumping in since I am sorta a newby here.This setup I made works very well for me.

Sorry for the long time from being on the site.  But I went with the pipe design with the slits.  I truly appreciate all the help.  It works good.  I wanted to drill holes but was on a very tight deadline so just went with the slits. I'll try to post some pics of it soon.
