Where to put smoker box on propane grill-- thanks!

Hello,

I have a Weber Spirit E-210 propane grill.  I also bought a cast iron smoker box.

Question is, where do I place it?  Do I place it on top of the grate?  Or under the grate on top of the flavorizer bars?  Is it okay if it sits on the flavorizer bar?
