Hey All,

Looking for easier clean up and good care. I was curious if any of u have tin foiled the heating box so drippings don't chunk up on it? Any spots u would suggest I foil up?
 
How will drippings and charring effect flavor and life of the unit? If I foil do I spray anything underneath to easy removal and replacement?
 
I don't foil mine and cleanup has not been bad at all, I just scrape off the large chunks and wipe down with paper towels.
I won't use foil near the heat source just in case it gets hot enough to release nasty chems into my food.
