Kym and I feed them regularly. Their antics are quite amusing. She can sit in the lounge chair on the back deck and there's 1 little guy that will show up..same time every nite...and hover about 3" from her face. He shows no aggression....but very much curious.

Red. They're attracted to the color red. Hence....the color of their sugar water...the color of their feeders. All red.

We have several differt kinds here. I have had one sneak a drink out of the garden hose while I was watering.

I had one do exactly that. It was locked in the porch probably most of the day. It looked quite weak so I held out my hand and it landed on it. It stayed calm as ever while it let me take it out side. Then it went straight to one of the feeders and had a fes sips then flew off. I guess it was one of our regulars but I couldn't tell it apart from the others.

I like hummers because even if they do mess on your car you can't tell.

Not like those blankety blank starlings. A curse upon them!
