hours after an earthquake. who woulda thought...

I have been avoiding Costco at all costs after seeing lines wrapped around the building day after day. Then a picture i ordered a while back arrived (my photo on canvas)...and we had an earthquake (5.7 - followed by dozens of aftershocks). I figure why not, right? Hardly line, they were shockingly well stocked and yes there was TP! They did have meat too! But I suspect that will be gone by now.

Anyways - if you have an earthquake and survive - try Costco for shorter lines ;)

Thought about you yesterday after the news of the earthquake. Glad you are okay and were able to use it to your advantage. Crazy times.

Thanks! yeah, its crazy out there...Im about ready for the crazy to slow on down...

I'd hope by now all the hoarders would be all hoarded up. I went to Safeway about 10:30 this morning and there was actually some onions and taters left on the shelf, some really over-priced meat in the display case, like a normal weekday crowd. RAY

Costco was about average - but I was in a hurry and didnt scrutinize too closely.

wait till ya see the prices in the coming weeks.

I won't have to buy any meat for quite some time Jim. The freezer is still pretty well stuffed with the three whole ribs roasts I copped on sale around Xmas, a few packs of chicken thighs, a couple racks of ribs, I've made 50 pounds of sausage, my wife doesn't hardly eat meat. RAY

I chuckled when Moroni lost the trumpet off the temple.
I guess that means this isn't the end of the world, yet?
LMAO - heard that from friends and fam who dont line in UT. kinda funny (no offense intended to anyone)

yeah man - we had trouble finding onions too...seemed odd...

I mail ordered 10lbs of frozen wild salmon that looks killer - some of that is in the brine right now. got some Piemontiese beef delivered too - but i think that we getting hammered with orders. Should be good for quite a while on every thing except milk and produce.
