Earlier today , I sold my old Gosm propane smoker. I never really cared for it and I let it go pretty cheap. The guy came by my house and saw a back yard full of smokers and grills. I couldn't stop laughing but then it hit me, what has happened to me. I'm consumed with work and grad school. I look forward to the weekends when I can relax, ride my Harley, enjoy a stogie and then smoke something.

But you know what, that ain't a bad life to live.

What do you all do to relax and get away from the stress and pressures of life?

My wife says i don't need another smoker. I only have 5 and i'm about to build my 2nd UDS.
Also looking for a smoker on wheels to pull behind my truck Thumbs Up
To relax I got to gym and throw some weights around and at home smoke something and play with my 3 dogs.
Also chase the wife around the house

Hahahahaha..I have 3 cookers/smokers..don't need any more..

Got a very nice sausage making kit.

Plenty of gear to go along with all of it..

Then there's the coffee making gear..

For exercise and relaxing I am building my 4 lots here into a tropical garden.

Mostly perennials..keeps me busy most days..

I also feed lots of birds and kill a few snakes.

I like fine cigars too!!

What is this relaxing and get away from stress?  I do not know the meaning of this.  I have one of those jobs where they expect you to check your phone and emails every 10 to 15 mins even if you are supposed to be off.

Last time I was able to do a smoke was when they had me doing an all night project.

Being retired, I do not now have much stress.  I smoke good cigars, smoke meat, and cheese, and spend time here.  If things do get a bit stressful, I have a motorhome and go traveling.  To the lake fishing, to Celtic festivals, just out and about.  Retirement is great.  Steve

Saturday during football season. That is my only time I really get to relax. Look forward to this thing you call retirement, just not sure I will ever get there.:biggrin:l

Relax??? Usually it is when we go away to Keaton Beach during the summer for a couple days. I don't have to worry about cooking or anyone asking for directions on what to do. I may get to chill and smoke something. The rest of the time is the early morning when I get up to do a smoke and no one else is around. Just me and my little helper ( the dog).

apart from cooking and smoking...I love driving.  Kinda like the ubiquitous driver characters in old special forces or criminal movies.  I don't care what it is: car, motorcycle, boat, airplane, lawnmower, or golf cart...just goofy I guess...
