? What gen is this Masterbuilt 40" electric smoker

Hello all I was org going to buy the 30" model but once I got there it seemed to small so I picked up this 40" model. My question is what Gen is this model and are the 40" models good? . I've attached the link to it at lowes where I bought it. It has a front display and the vent is top rear left corner.   Thanks in advance.

I can't tell which model since it doesn't have a glass door.

The best way to tell is to open the door and if it has a plate that slopes to the left with a small water pan on the left end, then it is a Generation 2.0. If the water pan is level and across the entire smoker at bottom rack level, then I would guess it is a Gen 1.0.

If the water pan is level and across the entire smoker at bottom rack level and it has a shield on the outside over the controller, then it would be a Gen 2.5.

I was finally able to get thru to them this afternoon they said its a Gen 2.0  Thanks for the info though :-)
