I bought a dehydrator for jerky, that has been going pretty well.

Curious what else you guys dehydrate. Ive read up and looks like you can dry pretty much anything, but what is a good snack or good to dry and have on hand.

Do you have inserts to dehydrate liquids?
like 15 years ago I started mixing Frank's Buffalo Sauce in a mason jar with a ranch dip mix packet and then pouring it into my trays and dehydrating it to make a Buffalo Powder to use in a rub for chicken wings etc.

Jalapenos, Habaneros etc, can all be dehydrated to grind into powders to add into custom rubs. Even better you can smoke them first and add that extra layer of flavor.

A small coffee grinder for like 10 or 12 dollars can be had from the Walmart to use for grinding dried things.

You can slice onions and dehydrate them to make you won onion powder too.

Pretty much any fruit you like. I always thought dried apples were a treat when a kid. Homemade raisins take some time but are wonderful!
Tomatoes. You can also make great tomato powder from dried 'maters.
One time a reefer truck came to pick up some stuff from the plant I worked at. It had several pallets of veggies still on it for some reason and they had to come off before we loaded him. By the time I came by the only thing left was celery. When chopped and dehydrated it reduced quarts of celery to a few pints at most and worked great in soups, stews, etc.

Besides jerky we do pineapple, mango, green onion, and pork skin to make chicharrones.

I will say, any fruit will dry down alot. My wife does it. A full drier makes a baggie full
