i don't know a whole lot about cold smoking,but the advice i got from this site was to try and do it at night with the amnps that makes it possible if your not an night owl, also you could open all vents, also freeze some water in 2 liter bottles and put inside smoker to help with temp,i'm sure some of the pros will be along to help you.good luck
I cold smoke cheeses of all kinds, Tomatos (cut in half) onions (whole and cut in half) Jalapenos (seeded and cut in half, or seed in) all kinds of peppers (seeded). You can also cold smoke fish. Hope this helps
