What can I freeze

Like most of us, life has gotten in the way and I haven't had time to fire up the smoker in a while.
I've been stocking up whenever I catch stuff on sale so my freezer is full and it's time to thin it out.
It looks like Sunday has opened up for me so I plan on loading it up.

I'm thinking about a couple of racks of ribs and a chuck roast.
I have cooked ribs before then frozen them and they turned out good.
I haven't frozen a cooked chuck, I'm not sure if I'll slice it or pull it yet.
Does a frozen cooked chuck reheat well?
 
IF you have a SV i think it would reheat pretty well. OF course I've read of folks doing them in a pot of hot water....more at a simmer rather than a boil. Especially if they are vac packed.

We almost always end up freezing some chuck roast, usually shredded. Add in some of the drippings and vac seal. Makes for quick meals later on...especially if you remember to take it back out of the freezer ahead of time to defrost.

Thanks, We'll have a bunch of cooked meat and there's only 3 of us at the house.
I like to cook a bunch then pull out later during the week for some quick meals
We do the same here. Just two of us now. I enjoy having leftovers in the fridge for easy meals at noon...but not to eat off something for a week!

Almost everything we smoke gets eaten for a couple of days, then vac packed into individual servings. Then it’s easy to heat up a pot of water & drop the bag in for an hour frozen. We just had some Wagyu brisket last night & I really couldn’t tell if it was just cooked or not.
