I'm flashing back to the late 70s/early 80s with some good old funk. Gap Band, Dazz Band, Cameo, Isley Brothers, The Bar-Kays.... V103 Atlanta.

JJ Cale wrote one of Clapton's biggest hits. Cale says if not for Clapton recording this, he'd be selling shoes.

I'd loved to have seen this Clapton/Winwood tour. Some really good music came out of this collaboration .

Eric is now 80 yo. When he and Winwood went on tour in 2008, he was 63 yo.

My personal experience. I'm today 73 yo. And I had a whole lot more energy at 63 yo than today. Those 10 years have been a huge difference for me.

This is John Conlee, he’s one of my favs…. Many don’t know him. But his voice to me is iconic! I wish I could share the YT vid… but please look it up… he is so worth listening too.
