I follow Larkin. I dont go to concerts anymore. Just to $$$. I have probably over a 100 dvd concerts. I watch one every Saturday. Got a pretty amazing system. That Pink Floyd Delicate Sound Of Thunder - Restored, Re-edited, Remixed is off the charts good!

I also enjoy Larkin Poe, their harmony is great, something maybe only sisters can have.

And Mrs Okie and I love DVD concerts. We have a large collection. I'm getting worried that DVD's are going to go away. CD's have been replaced by digital and DVD may be next. I want to own the concerts and not depend upon YouTube. And more importanlty, the sound quality is so much better on DVD vrs YT.

Billy Strings! What a phenomenal guitarist. Love Tedeschi Trucks Band as well, not to mention the String Cheese Incident! Larry Keel is also a wizard on guitar.
We love Billy strings. Emily sold him his condo here in Nashville. Went to a show in Huntsville last summer and saw him. Played non stop for 3hr

We love music festivals and try to hit several a year. Next up for us is the railbird festival in Lexington in june

I was wondering how far this thread was going to expand.
When you talk about guitarists, don't forget David Gilmour. Pink Floyd to the uninformed.

Bit of annoying trivia, Seattle rock stations rarely played Bob Segar when I lived there (1984-2001)
Gilmour sure can bend the notes. I love Pink Floyd.

Are we related?

Ha Ha , I think so Steve ( I could listen to a little punk )

Just way too many bands, single artists and others to list . From Dolly to Nazareth.

But I think. Until I remember better my most favorite song is " Changes " by Black Sabbath, I really love a good rock ballad .

( Have had a guitar for many years ( still can't play ) and want to learn the song " Fluff " also by Sabbath )

So there you go brother . we are related. lol

I've seen Garth brooks twice . Best one though was Alan Jackson . He walked on stage in blue jeans , a white Tee shirt and a guitar , and just tore it up . Another one was John Anderson .

I always made the Styx and Charlie Daniels shows way back when .

I seen Alan Jackson and it was fantastic, saw Garth and another great show.

Highwaymen was also a good show

I would pay a lot to see John Anderson , And Styx would be another I would pay greatly to see.

David

Being a product of the mid 60s, rock and blues from that era formed most of my listening .... 60s, 70s and some stuff from the 80s

I grew up on AC/DC and Hank Jr. what’s your excuse.

Funny line I’ve always related to because it’s true. But man there was a lot more.

Skynnard, 38. Special, the Scorpions. Such a variety that time frame was music greatness before the grunge crap started.
